Book Description
Another irresistible slice of Strega-Borgia family life
Product Description
The Strega-Borgia children are still reeling from the shock of their nanny's disappearance at the end of DEEP TROUBLE. Without Flora to tend to them the kids are growing up fast. Indeed, Titus is in the throes of a deeply embarrassing and magically accelerated puberty, while all around the usual chaos reigns. Baby Damp is learning to fly under the tutelage of a bat called Vesper, Ffup the dragon is struggling with the Atkins diet and Tarantella the tarantula is trying to teach her daughters the rudiments of mascara. So far, so StregaSchloss, but add in an arrest for murder, a demon intent on revenge and a suicidal deep-frozen ancestor and you have a recipe that could only be cooked up in a Gliori-cauldron.
From the Back Cover
The Strega-Borgias are in deep water, but are they waving or drowning?
For Titus Strega-Borgia, oldest child and only son, being a teenager is tough, and the disappearance of reliable housekeeper and cake-maker extraordinaire Mrs McLachlan is not making it any easier. Nor does it help that his baby sister thinks she's a bat, his mother's dodgy Parmesan has shaved several years off his life, his vengeful Mafia uncle has struck a bargain with Hades, his long-dead ancestors have dropped in for a chat and the pet dragon is driving everyone mad with her new diet.
Another fabulous episode in the devilishly difficult lives of the Strega-Borgia family, heroes the Pure Dead . . . books.
