Product Description

When new discoveries cast doubt on existing beliefs, it's time to rethink the beliefs!

A new world is emerging before our eyes, while the unsustainable world of the past struggles to continue. Both worlds reflect the beliefs of our past. Both exist - but only for now. Which world do you choose?

Bestselling author and visionary scientist Gregg Braden suggests that the hottest issues that divide us - seemingly separate concerns such as war, terror, abortion, suicide, genocide, the death penalty, poverty, economic collapse, and nuclear war - are actually related. They all stem from the false assumptions of an outdated science, assumptions that have brought us to the brink of disaster and the loss of all that we cherish as a civilisation.

Deep Truth reveals compelling evidence that:

· Evolution alone does not explain our existence

· We've been on Earth much longer than acknowledged by conventional history

· We're 'wired' for peace, not war

· We're at a pivotal tipping point in our existence

These discoveries give us the reasons to think differently about ourselves. With that difference, the solutions become obvious, and the choices become clear! Gregg Braden brings together the inspiring messages from all his previous visionary work into one cohesive vision for the future of mankind.

In Deep Truth, Gregg Braden discusses the need to update the information that we believe as true, and that sadly most of those updates are only available in certain publications and circles, and do not filter very quickly to the majority of humanity - which means many are not aware of updates on information that provide essential new insights, that would change how people perceive life, and thus live life. Gregg Braden provides information on the old and the new, side by side, for your comparison and deeper understanding of how necessary it is to shift our thinking from outmoded ideas, and into the truth that has been exposed, but not widely, if we are to make the mass shift within humanity that is clearly imperative at this time. Quotes from the old and the new are included, many of which come from the publications that Gregg mentions are simply not within mass circulation, therefore normally inaccessible. Gregg explains that it is the outmoded old thinking that is holding us back from making a shift into a more balanced and sustainable life on a global level. The information is drawn from so many areas, allowing your mind to dip into science, history, geology, biology, and so much more, allowing for a deep insightful overview to shift any old mind sets that may have been the result of incorrect information that was once believed to be true. Having followed the same route for my own studies, my understanding of the fact that the true information that is up to date often requires dedicated and diligent sourcing to find the truth in any area of study, but I also believe the research is so deeply rewarding when you surface from such new studies, to be graced with new insights, a fresh outlook on life, and often a spring in your step from knowing the deep, deep truth of life in any area.

The deep truth exposed within this book is regarding our natural unified state of being. in Gregg Braden's own words:- "If the leaders of our world, and their representatives, had really understood and lived from the deep scientific truths - that the universe, the planet, and our bodies are made of a shared field of energy, a matrix that makes the unity of entanglement possible; that human emotion directly influences what happens in the mantric; and also that nature relies on cooperation, not competition, for survival - they would certainly have made different choices".

An entire chapter is dedicated to "The Hidden History of Our Forgotten Past", in which many ancient important archeological sites are discussed. Two of the sites in particular were discovered through considering if ancient myths and fairy tales were, in fact, true. The site of Troy was one such site, and Machu Picchu was another. Gregg talks about the issue of life being lived from old ideas, no longer working, and that shifts are necessary that do sustain our life in the present times we live in, but for this to happen a shift in the consciousness of humanity is imperative through new ways of looking at life. The earth cycles of cooling and warming from new viewpoints are shared within Deep Truth, along with other natural earth cyclic phenomena. The celestial alignments are discussed, and the Hopi prophecy of the fourth world we are now in coming to an end, to be followed by the fifth world that we will all soon be living in and experiencing life from.

In Chapter "By Chance or Design" Gregg shares "The way we think of our beginnings on Earth forms the foundation for everything we think about ourselves. Either there is an intentional design at the foundation of life or there is not. We are either the product of a random series of natural events or the result of an intentional and intelligent design". Personally, I have always felt it would make no sense for life to be random, and that it could not possibly be so. Look in nature for the patterns of life - it all has rhyme and reason. It is also very interesting information on the same chapter regarding the new science of epigenetics that such is malleable and not fixed, and may change through different factors what we are exposed to, such as our emotional, chemical or physical environment, so through altering conditions of life and the passage of time, the genetic code can change! Further into this chapter, Irreducible complexity is discussed, which is the requirement of every part of any system to be functional, if the whole system is to function.

I found so many important points in the final chapter, "The End Game", of which firstly I will discuss Gregg Braden's sharing on choices:- "Our choices have serves us in many ways, and hurt us in others. Now the fact that so many of the systems we've chosen are collapsing all at the same time opens the door to a rare opportunity to choose again. W must choose where to go from here and how we shape the new world that's already emerging" and "Life today is the new normal. And it's carrying us in one direction: forward. We can't stop the ride, but we can direct where it takes us. We can't stop the change, but we can guide it to a gentler landing". Also a quote is shared from William Jennings Bryan that I absolutely loved the truth in his words:- "Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved". So, procrastinate and wait no longer! Initiate change now! In between one cycle and the next is a void where neither is presently active, and Gregg names this "A choice point of opportunity, opens the door of opportunity for us to change the patterns before we begin the new cycle. We can also know the moments in our future - the choice points - where our choices for change have the greatest opportunity for success". In "Rewriting Our History" Gregg mentions the importance of our personal, local, national and global routines have their foundation rooted deeply according to how we view ourselves and our connection to the world we live in. Gregg theorises that we may be more than we have imagined so far, with great and grand capabilities beyond what we have known and lived thus far in our lives, such as reversing disease, living in peace and abundance...the knowing of such would change our lives forever, and awaken us from unconscious living in "automatic pilot", to recognising our true power - this would indeed change our entire outlook on life and how we felt in response and connection to all of life. Important points are shared regarding separation consciousness:- "It's easy to see that if we think of ourselves as a fluke of biology, as separate and independent from the people and the world around us, and even separate from ourselves (the false assumption of science), solving our problems through force and conflict is a natural conclusion. When we think of ourselves as separate and powerless, conflict actually makes sense. It's also easy to see that when science reveals we're more than we've been led to believe in terms of our origins, history and relationship to nature and to ourselves (new discoveries), force and conflict no longer make any sense.

Gregg Braden discusses the situation Aron Ralston found himself in, and the choice of freedom he made in those moments. For us, it is a matter of choosing new sustainable fresh ideas for new ways of living that are supportive to the current moment. It is Greggs belief that freedom stems from knowing ourself in relation to the universe, as this changes how we feel about who we are, and in turn changes our natural responses to life. The six deep truths are discussed in the final writings of Deep Truth, and as you will see it is a matter of perceiving the truth, and this changing our outlook on life:- "Rather than think of the crises in the world as the barriers preventing us from getting started, we may find the they're actually the doorways we must step through to accelerate the process". I had came to this same conclusion myself regarding eco principles and the sustainability issues we are now facing on earth...as Ghandi once said "Be the change you wish to see in the world"...in other words, we are the pathway...that pathway is within us, and to be acted out from our being, we shine the light to create the new path of which did not exist prior to our inner urge to pave a new way, a new reality. As Gregg Braden questions "Do we unleash the destiny of greatness?".

Insights on the field, the matrix, quantum reality or the unified field, are discussed as "Deep Truth" comes to a close:- " It's in the way we choose to live our lives each day that the essence of our choices - the theme of cooperation or competition, there power of love or fear - is imbued into the field that connects all things. It's these choices as well that ultimately show up in the way we deal with the crises in the world. This is about action. It's the kind that appears each day in the way we live our lives", and "The key is that when we change, the world changes. In a world bathed in a scientifically validated field the connects all hearts, the question is less about how to reach "them" - the CEOs of corporations and the leaders of nations - and more about what we choose to place into the quantum field, or energetic matrix, connecting us all", and "When the facts of Deep Truth give us the reasons to think differently about ourselves, that difference is expressed in everything we do throughout our daily routines". Gregg outlines the main areas where we have choice to create change:-

Media - We can choose to expose ourselves only to peaceful and non-violent media.

Food - We can buy local and organic.

Business - We can purchase recycled items.

Conscious living - Reading Deep Truth and other empowering books to enlighten one to new ways of living and perception of life.

Deep Truth concludes most beautifully with answering the question:- "Who are we?.... Read more ›

I bought this on my new Christmas kindle on a whim, I thought a bit of 'Deep Truth' might be good at Christmas. I had no knowledge of the book or Gregg Braden prior to reading this book.
He says that it is not a science book, he is correct in that, but he makes all manner of claims about science. At least the claims are generally stated unambiguously so at least all but the most scientifically naive can see how off the scientific mainstream the claims, or statements of science's false assumptions, are:
'False assumption 2: Nature is based upon 'survival of the fittest'
'Fact 3: Human Life shows unmistakable signs of an intelligent design'
Not only is the entirety of science rewritten, so is history. The whole timeline of civilisation is re-interpreted.
If you are an intelligent design convert you might like this book, but for the rest of us it is difficult to tolerate such a gross distortion of the science.
The 'Deep Truths' are simply not truths at all.
It left me sad to have had this book as my first kindle purchase.

Truth's are relevant for specific eras. 24 Sep 2011

Interested in life?
Interested in science?
Interested in our world?

This book is so relevant for our time. As a retired biology teacher interested in spirituality this book contains volumes of information that speaks to me. I feel it's ring of truth for today. It's most difficult to keep pace with the massive volume of information present today. I am synthesizing as I progress trying to derive meaning from all the "apparent" chaos.
This guy is very good... he uses science to help us catch up so that some of the major problems facing humanity today may have a different point of reference based on the newest science fact. Paradigm shift might be an appropriate term. We are living in a huge lag time for scientific information. We are teaching out dated information and it's that information that keeps us bound in a time that is no longer functional for humanities healthiest survival.
For science people, math people and people interested in the latest truth from a scientific point of view.
For instance: Chimps have 48 chromosomes we have 46 it seems that there has been 2 chromosomes that have fused to make one for us. I found that most interesting. Especially how he reflects upon this information. The "truth" that DNA codes one code=one protein, no longer a truth. Just 2 of the facts he has woven into the fabric of this book. This just speaks volumes to me, personally, about how we cling to our out dated information. You know, as humans, we have a tendency to "own" our information. We are so fearful of being duped. We strive for the "truth" of it all many times kicking and screaming as we fear we might lose our hold on "our" truths.

A quote from Gregg Braden's newest book just released, "Deep Truth"
"We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. The world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time" This is a quote attributed to evolutionary biologist E. O. Wilson.

I highly recommend this book, Gregg Braden is a geologist/explorer and a synthesizer.
He brings to light much of the newest information and how it reflects on our world.
It's easy to read. If he uses the difficult science jargon he goes on to explain what it means in easy to understand terms. Gregg Braden is truly a "Deep Truth" thinker. I applaud his gift of synthesizing information for us during a very pivotal crucial time.

Potentially the MOST IMPORTANT BOOK of the 21st Century 15 Dec 2011
By Robert Steven Thomas - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
What lies ahead for mankind in this century? Will our advanced civilizations crumble under the pressure of the vast religious, scientific, economic, political and intellectual divide that is exponentially expanding among the people and nations of the world? Or can we find the collective strength, morality and will to modify these same forces, enabling humanity to raise our degree of evolution to a new higher level? If this second alternative comes to pass, "Deep Truth" will go down in history as one of the most important works of our time. It's going to join ranks with the other great modern contributions that will have historically marked our turning point. If the first, more likely alternative comes to be and the world implodes, the books ultimate standing is moot.
If you doubt this degree of divide exists among us, you have only to read the amount of angry polarization expressed in the book reviews that are posted here. As the author has eloquently expressed in "Deep Truth" -- The problems that currently exist have brought our world to the precipice of a major fork in its future. Moreover, the window of opportunity for us to make a well-reasoned, collective choice for the correct path to follow is narrow and rapidly closing. If we do not act fast the window will close and our fate will become sealed to the detriment of all intelligent beings. Contrary to the misguided-uninformed claims made by some of the reviewers here, this book is NOT "New Age." It is brutally harsh, honest-reality. It is firmly rooted in established science. Ignoring the significance of the case this book makes for the need to re-evaluate, modify and teach our understanding of history, evolution and the current world paradigm mandated by the modern Establishment will result in the collapse of civilization. The choice before us is no less critical and significant then the series of events that led to the medieval Dark Ages. Read this book. Send copies to anyone you know who has an open mind and a genuine interest in making a personal contribution to the future of humanity during their lifetime. I have spent 40 years of research and study in the subjects of discussion in this book. The information must be disseminated and adopted by a wider world-audience if we are to survive. It truly is that important.

Paled by The Source Field Investigations 9 Oct 2011
By BlueJaguar - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
(If you want to see a great video on you tube watch 'Gregg Braden Debunked')

This book is a minor work compared to David Wilcock's The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations Behind the 2012 Prophecies. Simply, this is a New Age book, part shallow survey of studies, part invented 'deep truths'.

From the book:

"Deep Truth One: Our ability to defuse the crises threatening our lives and our world hinges upon our willingness to accept what science is revealing about our origins and history."

It's sounding like Gregg wants us to follow science the way folks followed the church for centuries and that resulted in the Dark Ages. Science is still clinging with white knuckles to the linear evolution, 'we are the best ever', crossing the Siberian land bridge, and all that malarkey. And just because some studies are bucking the trend does not mean you should give your power away to ANY institution to just follow blindly. In this book you are not being taught how to think. If you want to pickup a deep truth it is this, to thine own self be true, trust your own insights, not papers (or books) written by others who have agenda (or books) to sell.

Is it a deep truth to realize that science and government are not disclosing what they really know about our past or anything else really? Nope. If there is money to be made or other agendas to fulfill then truth will be kept under tight wraps. The Disclosure Project, Graham Hancock, David Wilcock, and especially Nassim Haremein, all point to deeper conclusions. Collating some of your own conclusions by reading others research neither constitutes a good book or deep truth.
.
.
"Deep Truth 3: The key to addressing the crises threatening our survival lies in building partnerships based upon mutual aid and cooperation to adapt to the changes, rather than in pointing fingers and assigning blame, which makes such vital alliances difficult."

Ok, that's better, but is that a 'Deep Truth'? Didn't your mother teach you that growing up? When I think Deep Truth, I think universal truth.

There is no deep truth in this book. This book is some kind of preachy manifesto as to what is wrong from the viewpoint of science intersecting social trends. This isn't even in Greggs core audience demographic. If he is trying to make a socio-political statement then he needs to re-label the book with something like 'My ideas for making the world a better place'. You are not getting into deep truths with this kind of stuffing. At it's best the highest talk in this book is kinda like a light advertisement from mega trend books from 1980s like Future Shock, The Third Wave, and Megatrends: Ten New Directions Transforming Our Lives.
.
.
"Deep Truth 2: The reluctance of the mainstream educational systems to reflect new discoveries and explore new theories keeps us stuck in obsolete beliefs that fail to address the greatest crises of human history."

From Future Shock (back in 1984): "It would be a mistake to assume that the present-day educational system is unchanging. On the contrary, it is undergoing rapid change. But much of this change is no more than an attempt to refine the existing machinery, making it ever more proficient in the pursuit of obsolete goals. The rest is a kind of Brownian motion, self-canceling, incoherent, directionless."

The above was written in the mid-1980s. And now the author is going to bring up something known as common place from nearly 30 years ago as a new found 'Deep Truth' ?! C'mon.
.
.
If you like Alberto Villoldo, Wayne Dwyer, and other similar Hay House authors you might like this book. [Alberto's books are better than this.] But if you are looking for some real information it's not here.

If you want to be blown away by a volume of real research then David's The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations Behind the 2012 Prophecies will make this book look like a rushed outline.

If you want some serious insights into past civilizations then Joseph Farrell has crafted a fine a detailed survey here The Grid of the Gods: The Aftermath of the Cosmic War and the Physics of the Pyramid Peoples

If you are just getting into metaphysics and have never read this book then there are really deep truths waiting here The Universe Is a Green Dragon: A Cosmic Creation Story

If you want solid information from physics that challenges paradigms then you should spent time with Nassim Haremein as in Black Whole.

If you want deep truths from a Native American perspective then these are among the best Being and Vibration and Sound: Native Teachings and Visionary Art of Joseph Rael

You should also check out books by Vicky Anderson like this one The Expansion: A Philosophy of Consciousness, Creation and Rebirth
