I think you have to realise that this has been created as "Filmic Art" - there is no attempt at a narrative or even to make this a documentary film.
The creators are quite clear in the documentation that this is an "ambient entertainment" and a way to turn your flat TV screen, into a deep ocean environment.
So everything is slow and gentle - the music has been specially created for this and is pretty good but may not be to everybody's tastes. It is well-recorded and the surround sound nature of soundtrack, with very low "sub-bass", gives a real feel of being a long way down in the deep ocean.
In many ways this is a test disc that shows how well your surround sound system and 3D TV works. I was very impressed with the quality of the pictures and the music/ambient sound - it was almost like a meditation, slowing you down to the pace of the ocean.
If you are looking for excitement and action - this is not for you!! I applaud the creators of this for a brave attempt to create a new kind of 3D art and in trying to bring the feeling of the Deep Ocean to our living rooms.
I wouldn't give this 5 stars as I am not sure how often I would watch this - it's like a demonstration of what you can do and as such it is impressive while not being something you would want to come back to again and again.
It's more like a video painting and I think you need to decide whether you want such a thing - it's great for what it is, but you may not feel the need for such a thing and many people will be disappointed if they have not read and understood this. But that's not the fault of the creators of this disc and I don't think they should be criticised for trying to create something different.
