The grap of the deep can still be smelt in the salty water!,
This review is from: The Deep (Ingo Adventures) (Paperback)
Hello you might of read my previous reviwes on INGO and THE TIDE KNOT, i am a 14 year old year girl, again i love these books! The story is yet again gripping and the sense of excitment and secrets is held all the way through, from page 1 to page 326!
The story is beautifully written with the same easy language that retains the mystery of the deep. This book is only 4 stars, and the reason is the storyline deals with a lot of emotional feeling from sapphy, and the adventure is pretty basic and if i am honest i little dull (but not boring). Hwever sapphy spends about 4/5 of her time in INGO which is what i personally wanted from the series!! But the more imprtant bit of this story is that sapphy experiences many events that have affected the next book THE CROSSING OF INGO. Spoiler = like sapphy is given answers about what happened to her father and makes a deal with saldowr, i will leave it there! sorrry All in all a good book and suits its purpose of setting off the feeling for the next book. Four stars, well done to helen :)... i am currently about to begin THE CROSSING OF INGO - and have high hopes from what i have read on amazon. Hope this review helps - i know that this and other reviews makes it look boring and dull, but it is very important of your understanding of the othher books to learning about the crossing. therefore do read and enjoy... I will display another review for the CROSSING once i have read it :) hope this helps! :) ADMIRATION FOR HELEN DUNMORE! xx

It is scary, sweet, funny, friendly and creepy. The story is amazing! You have to start from the beginning though if you want to read them which is INGO! Ingo I recommend all of the books!

Best read ever!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Deep (Ingo Adventures) (Paperback)
This is another great book by Helen dunmore. It's a gripping tale about a girl whose father goes missing, her and her brother find out he's living in Ingo and they get up to all sorts of adventures. My fav thing about this book is that it's for children and adults and no it's not a story about mermaids it's really powerful and emotional. To understand this book you must read the first two, Ingo & The Tide Knot. I can't wait to read the last in the series. (my daughter read this)
