Product Description

Jordan Ferguson and Shawna Frye became good friends when Jordan made cheerleader. But when Timothy suddenly dumps Shawna to start seeing Jordan, rumors fly.

Shawna gets her revenge, first by smearing Jordan's reputation, then by tempting Timothy with an offer he can't refuse. Jordan feels absolutely green with envy--so much so that she considers doing everything in her power to get Tim back. Everything.

This second book in the teen fiction series TrueColors deals with jealousy and relationships.

Includes bonus chapter taken from Cool Beans by Erynn Mangum.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a teenager 19 May 2013
By Sis Dh
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
My daughter who is only 10, read it in 2 days (she does read a lot, I have to say). She really loved it and gave me a big speech about jealousy after, so I guess it did the work. She did think though, that it was not appropriate for her age and that she'd rather read next time, something that does not involve "kissing"... Well, the search for the perfect Christian novel for a 10 year old, continues...

4.0 out of 5 stars The Love Triangle 22 May 2006
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Deep Green is a very dramatic book about a girl named Jordan who somehow gets trapped in a Love Triangle. Jordan is a cheerleader at her school along with her so-called best friends. Now that Jordan has become a cheerleader she has also earned a good reputation with the boys. Jordan finds herself in love with a senior, Timothy, who is her best friend, Shawna's, ex-boyfriend. The real drama comes when Shawna finds out about Jordan and Timothy. So Shawna tries everything in her strength to get Timothy back. Jordan isn't about to give up the one she loves, so she does everything she can to get him back in her arms. Every attempt that she makes becomes a failure. So finally Jordan finds help in God.

Deep Green is a very good book. This book shows what kids go through on a day-to-day basis. Deep Green also teaches you that there are more important things in life than relationships, things like God and friends. This book is a great influence on teens because it shows you that no matter what trouble you go through, God will always be there for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars twisted love triangle 28 Sep 2005
By Tigers#1 - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Jordon Ferguson used to be best friends with Shawna Frye until they both fell in love with Timothy Lawrence. Jordon was trying to win Timothy from Shawna when she joined the cheerleading squad. She also dropped her old best friend, Kara, on the sidelines too. Ever since Jordon had been getting everything she wanted like Timothy from Shawna and Making cheerleading, she almost forgot about everyone else's lives. Shawna and Jordon had to cheer together so Jordon tried being friends again with Shawna. She gave Shawna her Beatles collection to try and get to be her friend again. Timothy and Jordon went to a party were Timothy got drunk and started going out with Shawna again. It was Ashley's party and her house was getting trashed so she kicked everyone out and found Shawna and Timothy in the bed together. That week Shawna was getting back at Jordon for taking her boyfriend away by stealing Jordon's pants and car keys. This was a mistake because then Jordon got suspended by the coach and also got a ride with Timothy the next week. Something happens to Timothy and Shawna which ruins them from there real life being fulfilled.

I really like this book because it did not bore you over the same things again and again. I also really liked this book because it got you thinking about everything that was happening and you could always picture everything that was going to happen because it gave you clues. It did not give the answers away before it needed to be given away. I also really dislike the book because the author did not explain all the things very well and it was also in some ways confusing.

I think anyone who likes crazy love stories would like this book. Also, people who are into reading books about kids or friends fighting each other to win a guy over would like it. This book is kind of related to Dear Nobody.
