Product Description

From the Back Cover

AN UPROARIOUS CRICKETING COLLABORATION BY ONE OF OUR MOST CELEBRATED SPORTING HEROES AND THE POPULAR ITV SPORTS PRESENTER.

The England team for the winter tour to Karistan is about to be announced and flamboyant Yorkshire all-rounder Kevin Sowerbutts thinks he's a certainty for the trip. A practical joker with a taste for the booze and an eye for the birds, 'Butty' also has a raw power that can strike fear into any opposition.

But the captain J H Fotheringhay (Harrow and Oxford) and the chairman of selectors Derek March, both from rival county Hamcester, have their own agenda for the tour, and it doesn't involve a rebel like Sowerbutts.

'Deep Cover' is the hilarious story of the adventures that ensue, following the fortunes of a group of players on a rollercoaster ride of tabloid headlines, dodgy decisions, thrilling scrapes and bitter competition…and that's not to mention the cricket!
