This item is for charging only, and even then I found it did not work with all 30 pin docks, so I assume the chip they have only works partially

Only just got round to using this now, works fine. Tested it with the old Apple 30 pin usb cable and an iPhone 4 dock that I had lying around, synced and charged without any problems.

I bought 2 of these as xmas presents and neither of them work on any of the 4 different docking stations i have.they are complete rubbish.i have returned them but as yet i havent had a refund. Do not buy this !
