I have been so impressed with TIAT's knot-tying/braiding video instructions on YouTube that I decided to buy his book. Brilliant, clear instructions; very easy to understand with step-by-step photo guides - just as good as the video guides :-)

I pre-ordered this book and was looking forward to its eventual arrival. The book has exceeded my expectations, and opened up a cornucopia of inspiration for magically transforming my ideas for projects and design for clothing, accessories, and soft furnishing. Because of the way the book is laid out and step-by-step explanation, my husband will be interested to create a lot of these for me like a little boy at the sailboat yard, and will ACTUALLY ENJOY HELPING ME.
It also strikes me that it will be great to sit with children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews alike and teach them something fun and different to the things their friends know, The use-ability of the techniques in this book are only limited by your own imagination.
Definitely a book that will sustain its right to remain on my shelf - or rather spend more time on my workspace actually being used!

I think this is an interesting book but with little use in jewellery...
It has some new knots and some variations of known knots.
Step by step photographs that, in some cases, would be missing one or too photos for full comprehension.

Fantastic reading, fun to use. If you like fancy rope work then this is a good starting book with lots of bends and hitches to keep you going.
