A very good product at an amazingly low price. CDs are not ideally suited for playing in equipment that gets jarred and shaken around, so it makes sense to banish them from head units and use solid state memory instead. This unit has four inputs: radio, line in, an SC card slot and a USB socket for a thumb drive. I find the SD card slot meets all my needs, since a cheap 1-GB card holds about 18 hours of music or podcasts. The sound is very good. Downsides are the annoying beeping sound made whenever any button is pushed and the nonstandard antenna socket for which I still have to find an adaptor. Overall, though, it's an excellent buy.

This is an excellent product at a reasonable price. Sound quality is good, instructions could be a little clearer but mostly common sense needed. Havn't tried with memory card yet but fingers crossed this will be as good as fm radio quality sound.

Fitted this to my Fiat Punto (2000), and was completely satisfied. The instructions weren't much use - as a few people have mentioned - so just used common sense; and it snugly fit eventually. Now it actually fits better than my old system. Not bulky either as it has no CD drive so it's easy to put it and take out (should you need to).
Bear in mind it doesn't have a removable front - so if you're security-conscious then it's perhaps not the best idea. My only advice with fitting would be: remove the bracket attached to the device before inserting it - put the bracket in the fascia of the car before sliding in. It goes in easier that way I found.

Short Lived
Item arrived promptly,and was fitted to a Ford Mondeo.Everything worked well for 5 mths.Then unit just stopped working.took it for repair and was told to just throw it away. Read more

Excellent value
At under £40 this is very good value for money. Was easy to install in my car, which is a Toyota, plugged straight in and didn't require any extra wiring or adaptors. Read more
