Product Description
Noirish thriller about a man who enters into a dangerous extra-marital affair, with deadly consequences. When Dave Ford (Matt Long) returns to his home town to attend his father's funeral, he is reunited with old friends Emily (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Brian Nicholson (Luke Mably), who are now married and very wealthy. When Emily and Brian offer to help Dave restore his father's house, the old friends instantly pick up where they left off years ago. But when Emily and Brian's relationship suddenly turns violent, Emily runs to Dave for protection from her abusive husband. Despite warnings that Emily may not be who she appears to be, Dave is unable to resist his feelings towards her and the two begin an affair. But as the truth about Emily is revealed, Dave finds himself caught up in a deadly game with no easy way out.
Product Description
Old friends Dave and Emily fall into a passionate relationship after Dave returns to his home town for his father's funeral. Emily and her former boyfriend had started to help Dave repair his late father's house before the couple broke up in a fit of violence, and there are some surprises in store for poor Dave upon his return.

I didn't like this film. The story on the box sounds much better than it actually is. I found it boring. It is quite a while since I saw this film now, so I cannot type on here exactly what I didn't like about the film. I remember not being able to get into the characters very easily. The storyline dragged. It was not exciting enough.

I liked this movie . It plays like a Raymond Chandler book or one of many movies from his books such as Farewell My Lovely, Big Sleep , Blue Dahlia and even like Basic Instinct. A guy who falls hard for his best buddy's wife. He gets set up by her and her ambition to do away with her husband and cash in on the inheritance... Emmanuelle Chriqui plays an excellent Black Widow.... Bogie and Bacall - The Signature Collection (The Big Sleep / Dark Passage / Key Largo / To Have and Have Not)

The movie is not award winning, but the story has value. Her evil ways, is shown, as the movie ends, Don't fall for the cute face or sweet (distressed) personality, you will be sorry! Why does she need to destroy peoples lives?
