Waterproofing Like all Quechua tents, the waterproofing has been particularly well-developed, approved in lab tests (WHOLE TENT in a shower of 200 litres/h/m2!) and in field tests. (PU coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet, thermobonded sealed seams.) A breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Ventilation 1 upper ventilation flap at the back, 2 low side flaps, breathable inner tent fabric. You can leave the inner tent door half-open at the top thanks to the 2-way zip. Everything is designed to allow air to circulate between the inner tent and flysheet, for more breathability and to limit natural condensation.
Poles Solid fibreglass; excellent resistance to breakage.
Tent pegs 5mm galvanised steel pegs for good twist-resistance.
Cover Flat, 65cm diameter disc.

These are great tents if you want something that pitches quickly. You pull it out of it's cover bag and it just springs into being, like some kind of magic! It really does take only about 2 seconds! It weighs about 2.7kg. I bought it mainly as a 1 person tent to have the extra room, it's designed as a 2 person tent and would fit 2 people but I wanted somewhere to put my stuff, so as not to leave it outside. For the price it's good quality and just so easy to pitch as the flexible poles are already attached, the only thing extra you need to do is put the pegs in the ground if it's windy. The setup/packup instructions are on a waterproof sheet attached to the tent so you can't lose them. There is a technique to packing it up but when you know how it can take only about 15-30 seconds - (try doing that with an ordinary tent!) When packed up it's in a circular bag, so not something you could fit into a backpack, but in theory it could be tied on with some bungees. It does have a carry strap that can fit over your shoulder. Obviously it's not a tent you'd use for mountaineering or anything like that and is not that high end quality you'd get in a tent that costs hundreds, but as a quick pitching wonder they're awesome.
