Very enjoyable style of writing. I. Liked her description of the characters left me with a feeling there is a couple of other stories under the surface.

Decadent Chocolate Dreams 13 April 2013
By Sharon Blount - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
I loved this book by Ac Arthur..Malik & Belinda story Then getting to know the Drayson family each of them are complicated..

We are introduced to Belinda baker and Miss perfect who does everything right or what people wants her to do..what is better for the family not what is best for her, she is has mapped out a perfect life for herself were is nothing is out a of place in her home work place life something she can control... that way of living is catching up with her what is she going to do about it... Enters Milk family and co worker/ friend and someone she has fantasied about but was scared to go after him, Milk has wanted to be with Belinda for years but his job and friendship were on the line so he stayed back, Until fate or chemistry finally came into play .. oh boy did they have some hot hot fiery passion build up with them. what I loved about the book was Belinda coming into her own self mean standing up for her self. Malik was just that man to help her a long the way.. Belinda finally was able to see Mailk for who he was not someone she assume she knew saw the man faults and all.. What made Malik even more better for me is when everyone kept saying he should leave her alone she has too many issues she is not going to change he said I know them and I dont want to change a thing about her just want to love her.. heart melting..Loved it great story cant wait to read the other books on the Drayson family..

Decadent Dreams 9 April 2013
By Louise Brown - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Rating 4.5

AC Arthur is author starting this series off. Think about Chocolate, Passion, Sexy, Sweet and more chocolate you are going to get three HOT Authors who will two things together Chocolate and Passion.

Belinda Drayson-Jones is one of the grand children of Lillian & Henry Drayson. Belinda is know to be independent, smart and a perfection. Belinda is also a woman who is afraid to let go and be herself but with Malik help she will see that once she start to live for her and not other she will be a lot happy. Now I can say that one minute it like she had the chip on her shoulder trying to be tough then the next it like this she turn into this naïve woman who she just want a loving man,

Malik Anthony is an ex NBA player who retired from the game and took his life in a different direction. Being a pastry chef was something that happens to him and with his best friend help begins working at Lillian's. Malik is generous person who give back to help other and has been in love with Belinda for a while.

Malik & Belinda had been working together for years but neither knew how the other felt and for Milak it was about not over stepping his bound when it come to Belinda he didn't know how Carter (his best friend) would feel about him dating or perusing his cousin. One thing about those Dryason they are very protective. Malik is very open and honest with Belinda and when Belinda decided that she want to pursue a relationship with him, he cautious her to be very clear about what she wants because there is no turning back once Malik..................take there relationship to the next level.

The question is to resist or give in to love? Decadent Dreams was just that a dream of a book. Lillian & Henry dream came through and as a result Lillian's Bakery was born and as the elder are thinking about retiring there is several grand children from them to pick from. this Bakery that is located in Chicago is family own and family run and it will continue to bring Chocolate and Love together.............that is the perfect combinations for LOVE.

I can't wait to Farrah Rochon book call "Delectable Desire" and Yahrah St John book call "Delicious Destiny"

Not so decadent 31 Mar 2013
By Golden Gram - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
I normally love A. C. Arthur but this book just did not do it for me. The story was slow and boring. I had to force myself to finish reading it. I didn't really feel a connection between Malik and Belinda. Half of the time I wondered what he saw in her. When I got to the end of the story I was like is this it? The ending seemed rushed and incomplete. I am assuming that some of the issues not resolved will be handled in the upcoming books but to me any book in a series should be able to stand on its own. I can only hope that series improves with Farrah Rochon and Yarah St. John

The book was good until the end. What kind of ending was that. If you not going to at least drop hints of what might happen why bring up the topics.... yukkkk

This was a very predictable book. Same old story....I definitely lost interest near the middle but finished because I paid for it. Don't waste your money on this one ladies.
