This 3cd box set includes many of the old skool classics im sure you remember. The main reason i bought this collection is because i wanted the full length mix of SL2s - DJs Take Control :) It is very difficult to find this on many of the old skool compilations that are out there.

Quite a number of the tracks i had not heard before and after listening to them i realised why :) Another wards they arent very good. Songs like "Moby - Go" and the "Altern 8 - Activ 8" are all time clasics from the very early 90's and are a welcome sight indeed. Very rare now is to see "Shamen - move any mountain" on a complilation as it normally is replaced by the better known (but more inferior) "Ebenezeer Goode".

"Praga Khans - Rave Alert" is an absoloute classic and is also absent from many other compilations. "Nexus 21 - Self Hypnosis" is a weird and very old song. (just for info Nexus 21 actually formed Altern 8 in the very early 90's. Altern 8 split up after making the track "Everybody" in 1993 and went back to being Nexus 21 again. Although i never heard of them making any tracks under the Nexus name after this)

"Love Decade - So real" is another excellent track that i own on 12" vinyl. An all round good collection but if your after a better compilation then you should check out "The Ultimate old skool Album" instead.
