Black moves the reader quickly through a war torn post World War II Berlin. While the concentration camp survivors try to pick up where Hitler's madness left off, two people are left to do battle: One evil Nazi doctor and the Jewish victim that has recognized and threatened his very existence. We are left running under the bleak and dark skies of Germany's guilt ridden nightmare asking the question: Where's the justice in a world that is either black or white, right or wrong. This moral spine tingler will stay with the reader long after the book is put back on the shelf. Black can sure write one hell of an adventure novel
