Synopsis

Please Note:- This special edition has a very slight skip after Chapter 19, which is from the master disc and cannot be rectified. It is barely noticeable, however if you feel this will cause a loss of watching pleasure, please purchase the standard version. L CHANGE THE WORLD is a spin-off from the highly successful DEATH NOTE franchise; which includes a bestselling manga, an anime series and two live-action feature films. This action-packed supernatural thriller focuses on the the mysterious character L (Ken'ichi Matsuyama), the detective tracking the 'death note' killer of the previous films. In L CHANGE THE WORLD the detective comes to the aid of a boy named Maki Nikaido (Mayuko Fukuda), the only survivor of an infectious virus responsible for wiping out his small Thai village. With only 23 days left to live, L decides to use the time to solve this case and others across the world.

In this spin off L centre stage as he lives his last 23 days.
This film is a lot lighter in nature then the Death Note films, in it L must stop a small terrorist group who want
to clense the world and save mother nature. L meets a young boy and girl who he must look after as he solves the case.
We see how akward L really is as he attempts to interact with people without Watara around and we see a fair amount of humour.
If you loved L in Death Note you'll enjoy this movie.

4.0 out of 5 stars Death Note: L Change The World DVD Rewiew 16 Nov 2010
Format:DVD
Death Note: L Change The World is a fantastic film and a brilliant way to end off the Death Note films. The english subtitles are very clear and easy to follow. If you are looking to find out what happens in this story though I would advise you to buy the Novel rather than the film as the film skips some parts of the story were as the novel doest.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great spin off for fans of Death Note! 14 Jan 2009
Format:DVD
Well I am a big Death Note fan to say the least! Its my all time best manga for me. I enjoyed all of the high level mind games and overall plot. I also enjoyed the films, the anime and also the spin off novel as well.

Now this is the new movie a spin off for L from Death Note. I found this movie a little flawed at points. Plus the story since it is not based of the main plotlines isnt quite up to the normal level.

However.

I give this movie 5 stars not because of a budget or amazing plot. It is just a very good watch with lots of fun. It makes a great add on for Death Note fans who want more.

Beware if you did not like L from Death Note you might not enjoy this film. Neverless good film.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seperate Film entirely - Not Deathnote
Good film in my eyes. It only has Death Note as it has the character L and a cameo from Ryuk that is all, it is a separate film entirely. Read more
