Product Description

Synopsis

Top of the charts 200 years ago were "murder ballads" - grisly tavern tales of death and misadventure. Nowadays, tragic motorbike accidents and tales of deranged wanderers calling dead lovers show that death is still a popular song subject.

This review is from: Death Discs: Account of Fatality in the Popular Song (Sanctuary Music Library) (Paperback)
i would really say more like 2 1/2 stars.there are a lot of really interesting facts here, but the authors writing style is really annoying.jumping all over the place, starting on a subject and then never finishing the story.glad i bought it used.
