In my humble opinion, this is what great writing is all about. Great stories, interesting characters, great arch stories, comedy, drama, amazing art, and all the crazy stuff that goes inside one of the most infamous anti-heroes from the Marvel universe. If you grew up in the 90's you will be very familiar with the jokes and puns Deadpool trows around. I started reading Deadpool back in the 90's and it always cracked me up with his nut-job jokes and his poise when dealing with difficult situations. He is a very unique and conflicted character, is he a hero, is he a villain, a little bit of both? Joe Kelly is just an incredible writer, but you can't ignore the creativity of Ed McGuinness, Bernard Chang, Shannon Denton, Pete Woods, Walter McDaniel and David Brewer, they all contributed to this Omnibus.
You will travel back in time with Sirin, Blind Al, Weazel, Wolverine, the Task Master, The Hulk, Dare Devil, Captain America, Monty (he is awesome! just loved the casino scene with Deadpool as "Ricardo Montalban") T-Ray, Spider Man, Bullseye and a bunch more of infamous characters. If you are a fan of Joe Kelly and Deadpool's "un-shutapable" (I know that's not a word...) humor, get this Omnibus, it is just plain awesome.
What you get: Deadpool (1997) # 1-33, # - and #0; Daredevil/Deadpool Annual '97; Deadpool & Dead Annual '98; Baby's First Deadpool Book; Amazing Spider - Man (1963) # 47 and #611; and material from Deadpool (2008) 3 900 and more than 1000 pages of fun.
