Having been attacked by the `Red Man' at the end of the previous volume, Ganta hears of the mysterious Ward G that isn't on any map of Deadman Wonderland. Thinking the `Red Man' could be there Ganta, Shiro and Yo search for the Ward G only to be chased by a security robot and encounter another person with mysterious powers. Eventually Ganta discovers the true purpose of Deadman Wonderland and his own place within it.

This second volume of `Deadman Wonderland' continues this great series and begins to get to the meat of the series with the revelation about the true purpose of the prison. The volume also sees the introduction of a number of new characters including Senji `Crow' Kiyomasa who, along with Shiro, is a favourite character of mine from the series. The artwork continues to be very good with some very nice gory scenes and the plot also remains very interesting.

'Deadman Wonderland' is easily one of my favourite manga series and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes their manga quite dark.

Deadman Wonderland is a great manga to read so far, I have watched the anime and enjoyed it thoroughly. The artwork is great and the story is totally on key for anyone into some dark action/fighting with a hint of gore here and there. Overall I highly recommend this to anyone whether your are a novice to the manga world or a complete veteran.

Great volume really builds on the first and shows how corrupt the commissioner and government higher ups are another brilliant volume great art and a huge amount of progression in the story without being to much

Didn't live up to my expectations of Vol. 1 but still good. This volume closes in on Ganta and the white haired girl as they find out the one who killed Ganta's classmates is hidden in the prison somewhere. Rather than finding him, they meet someone else and Ganta learns more about the "deadmen" and what is going on inside the prison. I think this volume focused in on the main characters too soon, as I felt like I hadn't got a handle on the environment yet. The amusement park was hardly mentioned and none of the other inmates were involved in the story. I would have preferred getting to know the society better before closing in on the politics of the plot. However, this is still an awesome dystopian theme and I'm hoping the third volume will pull everything together better for me. I love the characters!
