Product Description

Make a note: never agitate a madman. Successful Thoroughbred trainer Mike West just made that mistake-and he’s gonna pay-more than he ever realized. But it’s all in the family; his sister, Kate, has been the object of the madman’s desire on the social network “My Town”. Her constant rejections have infuriated him! People who seem to be in the way start turning up dead, and he’s got Mike and Kate next on his list! In the first book of The Unbridled Series, Cindy McDonald introduces you to the world of Thoroughbred racing, while taking her cast of characters on a wild ride through a maniacs mind.

About the Author

For the past twenty years, Cindy has helped her husband raise, train, and race Thoroughbreds at their forty-five acre farm known as Fly-By-Night Stables near Pittsburgh. During those years, Cindy has paid close attention to the characters that hang-out at the back-side of the track. She found the situations and life style most intriguing. In 2005, she sat down at her computer and began a journey into writing about this life that few understand. Cindy has recently retired from making her living as a professional choreographer. She owned and operated Cindy McDonald’s School of Dance since 1985. She studied at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and with the Pittsburgh Dance Alloy at Carnegie Mellon University to name a few. She has choreographed many musicals and an opera for the Pittsburgh Savoyards. To find out more about future books of the Unbridled Series, please visit Cindy’s website at:

4.0 out of 5 stars Good New Author 7 Feb 2012
By Donna Kaczynski - Published on
Totally enjoyed this book. Good twists and turns. Don't want to spoil the plot, but was wondering how she was going to do with the bad guy since he was caught early on. Good twist! Enjoyed reading the familiar things in Western Pennsylvania. Some likeable characters - some not so likeable (Ava). Ready for the next installment.

Cindy McDonald has the ability to hold your interest with thrilling mysteries and intriging characters. She plops a climax in the middle of the book and it gets even better from there. Great read. Fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent intial offering 20 Sep 2011
By T. Brunton - Published on
This is the author's first book in print and given that this was an excellent initial offering. I enjoyed the story line and I look forward to learning more about the main characters as they continue to develop in upcoming books as the series progresses. The author gives you a truly creepy villain who actually reminds you of someone you know, the totally weird loser guy that no one wants to talk to and everyone goes out of their way to avoid.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Bad Guy Is Like the Energizer Bunny 25 July 2014

Cindy McDonald has delivered on her promise of not having a lull in the action. The drama is drawn out by going from place to place, visiting different characters in the same story in order to see all the details of how it will play out. I previously read one of her novels which made me interested in the whole West family and all the characters in their world. I enjoyed this book and I'm sure I'll read more in the series. If you love a story with a bad guy that just keeps coming - even when you think its over and done, somehow they manage to take another stab - you'll love this one. Poor crazy George, I almost felt like it wasn't really his fault with the life he endured.
