Product Description

Three people are gunned down in the small, sleepy town of Kelso in Georgia. And as Sheriff Lucas Turner investigates the cold-blooded shootings, the daughter of one of the victims flies out from the UK, determined to track down her father’s killer or killers.

Dana McKenna is ex-army; now a partner in a security service company. After finding a lead that the police have failed to discover, Dana joins forces with Lucas, and the unlikely team begins a manhunt that will lead them into lethal danger as their attraction for each other grows.

Jake McKenna was not just a random victim. Someone wanted him out of the way, permanently, and will do all that is necessary to eliminate any links back to him.

More people meet violent ends as Dana and Lucas home in on Dewey Keach, a gangster in the city of LaGrange, who has connections in high places and can pull all the strings necessary to protect his interests.

Keach arranged for Dana’s father to be killed for a third party. To him it was just business. He has no idea that the law is the least of his problems, for Dana has an agenda; she is determined to find everyone who had any involvement in her father’s death, and kill them.

More About the Author

I write the type of original, action-packed, violent crime thrillers that I know I would enjoy reading if they were written by such authors as: Lee Child, David Baldacci, Harlan Coben, Michael Connelly and their ilk.
Over twenty years in the Prison Service proved great research into the minds of criminals, and especially into the dark world that serial killers - of who I have met quite a few - frequent.

I live in a cottage a mile from the nearest main road in the Yorkshire Wolds, enjoy photography, the wildlife, and of course creating new characters to place in dilemmas that my mind dreams up.

What makes a good read? Believable protagonists that you care about, set in a story that stirs all of your emotions.

If you like your crime fiction fast-paced, then I believe that the books I have already uploaded on Amazon/Kindle will keep you turning the pages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five stars all the way ***** 4 Feb 2014

What I don't understand is why more people haven't heard of Michael Kerr. His books are all gripping and I have only two left to read (not sure who to read after that!!). All his books have an edge of the seat storyline, great characters who you can't help but like, and are all thrilling but easy to read. This is one of those authors that you wish would write a book a week!! Good job, Mr Kerr.
