Sean Patrick Flannery plays Tom Armstrong, an Albuquerque detective on the trail of an international hitman known only as the Lion. When they track him to his hide out one Christmas Eve he finds his own wife tied up in the basement in a Saw like fiendish trap where he has only minutes to make a life or death decision. Nine years later he is a washed up retiree drinking tequila in Mexico when he is approached by a glamourous FBI agent played by Carmen Serano who lures him back to the States with the news that the Lion is back in town. Tom goes back looking for revenge and voila, he's a detective again after a nine year lay off and gallons of tequila and not only that but he is welcomed into the joint task force with open arms. More bombs go off and people die and the Lion runs around in a multitude of similar disguises until the inevitable ending. Low budget, unoriginal but everybody tries hard so three stars.
