Product Description

Rita J. Stec, MD, Women's Wellness.

""I am deeply indebted to Geoff Bond for teaching me the correct
way to approach nutrition. His research and keen insights from the
anthropological perspective show clearly the connection between how the
human body is genetically programmed and the disease consequences of
inappropriate eating.
I applaud his courage and his commitment to science that takes us past the
misinformation perpetuated by the dairy, beef, fast food, sugar and cereal
industries, as well as our own federal government.
This book is a 'must read' for anyone interested in decreasing their risk
of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer."

Product Description

Deadly Harvest encapsulates current thinking on lifestyle anthropology. It describes how, by learning the lessons from our ancient past, we can maximize our chances of enjoying a long “healthy life expectancy”. Deadly Harvest is heavily referenced, containing some 35 pages of primary source citations.

Forget the diet books. Not only have I lost a stone in 2 months, I have more energy and feel I have been given a new lease of life. A fascinating and unbiased account of the food we are unwittingly putting into our bodies. It's a must read,

Diet revolution 22 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
This is the best "health book" I have read. I made the dietary changes about 5 months ago and I will continue. My acne prone skin is vastly improved and I am maintaining a slim body weight while eating lots of highly nutritious food.I have recommended the book to many people suffering from skin complaints( I run a cosmetic skin clinic),digestive problems and weight gain.Probably the only book I have almost read through twice and certainly refer back to. Life changing - only wish I could have read it years ago.

Life Changing 9 Jan 2010
Format:Paperback
In my 60 years there have only been three books which I have come across which I regard as life changing and this is one of them. I had pain in one of the joints in my index figure and over a few months this started to spread to other figure joints. I decided not to accept the 'aches and pains' of growing older but to fight back. So for the first time I started to take an interest in my diet. During the past three years it has become virtually a research project. I thought I had learnt a lot about diet prior to reading Deadly Harvest. Certainly all of the aches and pains had gone. I was much healthier and exercised more. However, Geoff Bond's book moved my thinking forward considerably. Deadly Harvest made me re-evaluate my diet and further refine the food I eat. There were some fundamental changes. I have just finished reading the book for about the fourth time.

Having been written by a nutritional anthropologist the approach is entirely different to any other book I have come across on the subject. It does not shy away from uncomfortable conclusions which are based on a life time of scientific research. A unique and invaluable book.
