4.0 out of 5 stars Great little book 17 Sep 2012
By Paul Price TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
My 8 year old son is picking up this book and reading the information without any difficulty. Some great facts to discover. We both found the "Vampire Moth" to be morbidly thrilling. It uses its saw like incisors to cut away at an animals skin to feed on blood. I am not sure I would be 100% happy paying a fiver for this small little book tho. I had it at 2.99 which is about right.

I bought these books to give to the children who came to my sons birthday party instead of the usual party bag. The boys all loved them!

Hate it,boring factual incorrect, good points, it light the fire, sent the little one to sleep with boredom and drove the elder one who it was brought for on to the tablet

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad 16 Sep 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
We had already bought the big book of the series with glossy pages and beautiful illustrations. This one was disappointing in comparison. It was very small and the pictures seemed like color photocopies of proper pictures. The text was fine, but not as attractive book overall
