Format: Hardcover
This is an interesting and entertaining book from the presenter of the BBC’s Deadly 60 programme, well illustrated with superb colour photographs and black and white drawings. In the books 11 chapters, he describes how to search for various types of creatures, in ten different habitats, from identifying small mammals and birds in your local woods, to hunting for the more exotic animals we encounter only in zoos or Steve’s TV programmes.

This would be an ideal present for any junior naturalists who want to search their localities or holiday sites for wildlife, and an entertaining read when the weather or circumstances keep them penned indoors.

My son is a big fan of the Deadly 60 programme. He was delighted with this book. Great information and colourful photos. Best still was the chance to learn about how to track animals. A big hit alround. Recommend.
