Four friends go for a camping trip deep into the woods, only to come under threat from a supernatural entity.
Okay, this doesnt always hit the mark. The opening half hour sometimes feels like a group of actors have stumbled into a wildlife documentary. However, things pick up considerably, when one of their number dissapears whilst swimming in the lake. What follows is a reasonably effective little horror, with a couple of interesting ideas.
What I do like is the leisurely direction, and the very understated approach to the unfolding events. Whether this is wholly, or even partially intentional on the part of the director/directors, it works for me. The cast all perform adequately, and there is some lovely cinematography
Certainly worth a watch. 3 out of 5
