I'm delighted to have found Dana Stabenow and Kate Shugak, especially as there are so many books in the series. It's a completely different world that's described in the novels but Stabenow's gentle humour and skilful characterization bring it alive. Very well written and entertaining.

Dana Stabennow has really made a great name for herself with her Kate Shugak Series books. Have now had to get the whole series as once you start reading them you can't put them down
