This album marks the second stage in NFDs career.

The first stage was to sound like a clone of Fields of the Nephilim form the late 80s - given that 2 of the band members were ex-members of that group it wasn't too surprising.

The second stage is to become a hard modern goth band. The gloves have been removed. The jangles have been left behind.

There are a series of massive rock riffs on Light My Way and Descent whilst other tracks are more melodic One Moment Between Us, for example.

It marks a new, and improved, passage in NFDs career so far. If the promise of this album is realised then expect to see NFD heading towards the charts rather than bands such as Evanescence who pale in comparison!

It's not without its faults but it is superb! 8/10

This is an excellent strong album, well played and well sung combining some traditional goth tracks with solid rock tracks. All the tracks are very good (except my possession which I find a bit grating)in particular the title track and One Moment Between Us. If you like traditional rock then try this for some goth influence. I would have marked it down a bit as the production is not 100% and it feels like a collection of 9 songs. However, I saw them live recently and they were awesome so 5 stars.

Great album, OK it's very FotN but that's not a bad thing. Of their music I've heard this is the one to buy. Downhill all the way after this one.

I cannot recommend this enough. It is hard to find a cd without a bad track, but you have found one here. Hard hitting and catchy at the same time. You will find the songs swirling around you head long after the cd has finished.

Dreadful clone of Fields of the Nephilim (yeah I know, Tony Pettitt was a founder member and another member was in a later incarnation), but the singer? The guy probably posed infront of a mirror in his bedroom singing along to McCoy during the late 80s. Complete rubbish!
