Joe Hunter is great - now a well established operator with a sound array of backup his only fault is he is a little superhuman and I would urge Matt Hilton not to turn him into a Jack Reacher character who is unbelievable by his own indomitability.
The characters are well written and have become real people and the writing encourages real empathy for them which is both clever and skilful.
Looking forward to reading the next one !

Another classical Hunter thriller dispatches with the bad guys on his journey to save his brother not knowing that he is on a collision course with his old enemy Tubal Cain. Another action packed read couldn't put it down.

People have compared Matt Hiltons hero Joe Hunter to Lee Childs Jack Reacher however I find that this is only half the story. A hero is only as good as his nemesis and with Tubal Cain Hilton has created a psychopath every bit as interesting as anything even James Patterson has introduced.
I thought this book was excellently written having a nice pace and introducing new characters. As always the dramatic conclusion was fast, furious and absolutely exciting. I recommend this book without hesitation.
