When Carl, a work-obsessed man reluctantly agrees to a weekend away with his disgruntled wife and disruptive children, a leisurely trip to the country becomes a fight for survival as a convoy of road-weary travellers, confront and force the family off of the road, and then engage them in a series of terrifying mind games in an abandoned roadside diner. Carl watches in desperation as the ones he loves are brutalised and humiliated; will he be able to find a way for them all to escape, or are they destined to disappear without trace?

What starts off as a man running through the woods with an arrow impaled into his shoulder soon descends into a dull unpleasantly annoying argument between husband and wife, After the first argument I was at least expecting the start of something more promising .... But I felt even more let down and confused by this moody plot-less time waster when the annoying arguments get even more unbearable to part with. Driving his wife and the children for a weekend away to save his relationship he confronts a gypsy clan, At this point I was a bit more intrigued by the film, it picks up its pace from this point and expands on the atmosphere of a British answer to Rob Zombies - The Devils Rejects. In places this descends into a weird soft core rape/porn flick with only one scene of violence throughout this film, not even that one scene of violence was enough to please or impress! There is plenty of arguments and to be fair the annoyingly pointless arguments is basically all you will get to unfortunately see in this movie. James Foreman is the only actor in this film who pulls off his role and nails it. The scene of rape was so misleadingly un shocking it was pointless having this scene in the film. If this does not seem bad enough then you will be totally shocked by the ending. The twist is the most terribly horrifying ending ever it makes this entire film completely pointless.
Save your money this is without doubt one of the most awful British film i have seen in recent years

You have to give at least one star sadly. A film that seemed to be all amateurs with the only professional in it namely, Jamie Foreman who sadly did nothing to help lift it. Wil Johnson possibly one of the most wooden actors I have seen in a film. It did start off as a possible decent film then it was all downhill very fast. 3/4 of the way through it simply descended into utter farce leaving me trying to work out what exactly the storyline was supposed to be about. Reading some who posted with 5 stars and simply lauded it as simply wonderful leaves me wondering if they watched the same film I did. I watched it at a friends (thank goodness) so was lucky not to waste money in buying it.

Utter rubbish, I have seen better written episodes of Scooby Doo! I bought it as a Christmas gift and its going straight in the bin, wouldn't even give it to anyone else.

We are great fans of Jamie Foreman, and the blurb sounded like a British 'The Hills Have Eyes', so it sounded a must. The family bickering went on and on and soon got tiresome. Foreman and his cronies were at first captivatingly creepy, but soon got tame and boring.
Then, all of a sudden, the room explodes into an image of hell, leaving the viewer thinking "what on earth?...". A quick non-sensical finale - and that was it. It just left us deflated and angry. Charity shop - here it comes!

This film was a gamble but I do like Jamie Foreman so thought I'd give it a try. Wish I hadn't bothered. If it hadn't been for Jamie's acting then I'd have turned it off after the first 20 mins. The storyline has been done a few times now and with the exception of Eden Lake it doesn't really work for Britain. Yeah I kind of get the twist but saw it coming. I'm certainly glad I didn't pay more than £2.50 for it and thats really £2.50 too much but I've seen worse films hence the reason for two stars not one. At the time of writing the price on Amazon is £9 which is definately not worth paying.
