The following I found regarding what qualifications Dr. Wallach holds and also regarding his findings:
"Dr. Wallach has been involved in biomedical research and clinical medicine for 30 years. He received his B.S. Degree from the University of Missouri with a major in animal husbandry (nutrition) and field crops; a D.V.M. (veterinarian) from the University of Missouri; a three year post doctoral fellowship from the Center for the Biology of Natural Systems, Washington University; and an N.D. from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Wallach's research has resulted in the publication of more than 70 peer review reference articles in the field of nutrition and pharmaceutical research; co-authored 8 textbooks and is the author of a text/reference book on the subject of comparative medicine (W.B. Saunders Publishing Co., 1983). Dr. Wallach's research in comparative medicine is based on more than 13,700 cases from the University of Missouri, Iowa State University, the Center for the Biology of Natural Systems, Washington University; the St. Louis Zoological Gardens; the Chicago Zoological Gardens; the Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia; the Nation College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, Oregon and Harbin Medical University, Harbin, Hei Long Jiang, Peoples Republic of China. He was a member of NIH site visit teams for four years and was a member of the 1968 NSF ad hoc committee that authored the 1968 Animal Welfare Act (humane housing and care of laboratory and captive exotic species); and Consulting Professor of Medicine, Harbin Medical University, Harbin, Hei Long Jiang, Peoples Republic of China."
I see too many people being mislead by the medical community. They are most likely the real quacks. There has been a role reversal over the last few centuries. There was a time when Medical Doctors that we today consult for answers were considered the quacks and charletons and home remedies with attainable herbs were used. Well now many years later natural remedies are considered by many to be the advice of quacks and charletons. Medical Doctors often give a quick fix that shows results quickly and therefor they are bowed down to as gods for providing such results... but what the long term effects of such quick results are is left to be seen yrs later and another quick fix provided. Where as natural remedies combined with a healthy diet and activity take patience and time to reap results. But the same attitude in wanting a quick fix is what has cause many health problems... impatience 'I want it now' ... McDonalds and the like provide it now... It takes time for optimum health to diminish so it will take time to fix the problems. The best advice I would give anyone regarding health is 'treat the cause not the symptom'. Have you ever thought of why herbs and natural remedies have been so taboo over the years. Do you remember the witch hunts of years ago. Well witches supposedly used herbs in conjunction with spells. It may well be morally wrong from a Christian point of view to use the spells and so forth but does that make it wrong to use herbs(which all plants are considered herbs)to provide healing? These minerals Dr. Wallach is ndorsing are complete plant derived minerals which means they come from humic shale plant matter from eons ago. Here's what is said of this Majestic Earth Minerals
"Each quart of Majestic Earth plant derived colloidal mineral solution contains up to 77 minerals in unaltered organically bound colloidal form. These minerals are produced from prehistoric plant material known as "humic shale" which comes from Southeastern Utah. Humic shale is pulverized and placed in large food grade vats and submerged in purified cool water and allowed to leach naturally and undisturbed for many weeks. During this period the plant derived minerals blend with the water to form an organic colloidal concentrate Dr Wallach affectionately calls Majestic Earth ."
If you can find colloidal minerals which can make the same claims then use those...
I hope these thoughts will give someone a little more insight.
