dont expect an intelligent thought provoking film then you wont be dissapointed instead you get lots of gore,dancing zombies,a singing hilly bill who keeps popping up! dont know why! watch this without any expectations on a rainy afternoon & you may enjoy it!

'Dead & Breakfast' is a strange film, a weird mix of gory horror, witty comedy, peppered with musical numbers from singing hillbilly zombies which all together shouldn't really work, but the end result is surprisingly good.The dialogue is sharp and witty, the acting is well above average for this type of film, the direction is polished and well paced and the musical numbers are genuinely funny. Overall this is an inventive tongue in cheek horror film with buckets of gore which should be on any horror fans rental list. If you enjoy this then you should also check out the equally good comedy horror 'Idle Hands'.

I gave this movie 5 stars for fun factor.Some Americans dont "get" Shaun of the Dead. Some Brits dont "get" Dead and Breakfast. Just like some folks like Country and Western music and some don't. Think of this a country and western zombie spoof. I enjoyed it very much, the only thing that could make it better was a couple of extra beers. You got to take it on its own terms, dont try to impose you preconceptions onto it. Here Day of the Dead meets Oklahoma, deal with it maties.
