This powerful Dewalt DCD925 is an 18 Volt XRP combination drill for heavy-duty drilling and screw driving applications. Dewalt built frameless motor reduces size and increases efficiency producing excellent runtime with its ultra smooth 3 speed selector this gives optimum performance in high torque, normal use and high speed applications.
The Dewalt DCD925 is equipped with a 22 position adjustable torque control that allows the user good uniform results and optimised precision when screw driving so not damaging delicate work pieces. This Dewalt Combi drill has a 13 mm self tightening keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock for ultimate bit control also an extra sensitive trigger and electronic brake for added control when setting and removing fasteners and an improved ergonomic design with rubber grip that increases comfort for prolonged usage.

Dewalt DCD925B2 type 10 is a very nice piece of kit. Comes with NiMH 2.6 ampH (950g)batteries which are heavier than the Li-ion by about 300g. Quite a heavy set up. What is interesting is that the B2 type 10 comes with a Rohm chuck which is not bolted to the drill but threaded and thread locked with glue. Its very different to the DCD925 type 11 which has a Jacobs type chuck locked to the drill using a allen key bolt in the centre, this is much easier for a DIY'er to repair and replace. Saying that, the Rohm chuck is a superb piece of precision engineering. Otherwise the drill is excellent, very well made, no problems so far and very YELLOW... :-) Would I recommend to others... YES YES YES
I've struggled for years with a wired Black & Decker drill but I thought I'd treat myself to a DeWalt combi drill and I'm so pleased I did. It's so versatile and no real need for the comprehensive instructions, all the features are clearly marked so its very easy to operate. I particularly like the gradual speed build up using the trigger, very handy when using screws - you can nudge the trigger gently to seat the screw then build up speed to ram it home. The light beneath the chuck is a boon too, it helped me finish a recent roofing job in low light with confidence. A quality product which comes highly recommended at a resonable price!
