The Dewalt 024K is a 240 volt percussion drill that has been designed with low weight in mind to ensure the drill is easy to use and to help reduce user fatigue on long drilling applications. The compact design of this Dewalt drill enables comfortable use and allows access to tight spaces. With the excellent power to size ratio, this results in a powerful, durable drill, but in a compact size. There is a sensitive soft trigger with variable speed switch which allows a user to drill slowly for precision accuracy when starting to drill a hole, while the rubber back handle increases comfort to the user in drilling and hammer drilling applications. The lock-on button gives the user the option to keep the machine continually running when doing repetitive operations. The Dewalt 024K is a good all-round drill for drilling in concrete, masonry, steel, wood and fixings.

Spent a lot of time comparing models and wondering if the DeWalt model was going to have enough power. Concerns quickly answered as the DeWalt cut through 4in concrete like it wasnt even there. If you are after a decent budget drill this one looks like it is a one worth considering.

I am 83 years old and buying a drill at my age seems absurd. I needed one at home so if I needed something doing one was available without asking my son to bring his over. I did this many years ago, but he was so impressed by the Bosch I had putchased that he cajoled me into parting with it. He won't get away with it this time. This one stays here. He was very impressed with it and said it went thought concrete like going through butter. It was also an excellent price - a massive reduction. My son is very pleased with it - and so am I!

I have waited a long time to get myself a decent percussion drill and was not disappointed. My option was always DeWalt and the reviews for this model and the sale price made me purchase the DO24k model 240v & kitbox.
I have since used this for many jobs and it works great. Very pleased I bought this.
