I own both the 7th and (now) the 8th edition. No question that it remains the definitive Oncology textbook. I have only two minor complaints about it. 1) For a book that costs �180 I expect perfect typesetting and proofreading. This is not the case. Just browsing through a couple of chapters I spotted quite a few grammatical and syntactical mistakes. The alignment of text in tables and boxes is far from perfect (see for example Table 42.1.2). 2)The quality of the line art is poor. A great many diagrams seem to have been picked directly from previous editions and the low resolution means that lines are quite often blurred.
