The Argento WR30 "Toast & Grill" Stainless Steel Grill and Sandwich Maker from Delonghi is ideal for any home. The product is equipped with double plates, the smooth plates (ideal for eggs, omelettes and sandwiches) or the textured plates (ideal for traditional cooking and paninis). The plates are non stick, removable and dishwasher safe making it very easy to clean.
Other features include, adjustable thermostat, cool touch handle, viewing window and "ready light". The product can be stored in the horizontal position ensuring that it doesn't take up too much space. Matching Argento Kettle, Toasters and Waffle Maker are also available at Amazon.

    This is sold as a panini-press but you can use it to cook all kinds of things - I've done burgers and chicken in it before now! It's a stylish little piece of kit, so I don't mind having it out on show in the kitchen ready for use. It comes with 2 sets of plates - "plain" and "ribbed", so you can cook your panani without the classic ridges, if you so wish. The plates are easy to change and just flip out after sliding a catch open. The plates are non-stick and super-easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. The outer-casing does get a bit hot during use, but DeLonghi do tell you this in the instructions, so no risk of accidents there. The unit itself heats up really quickly (within a few minutes) and panini are cooked within maybe 5 minutes, depending on how thick you have the filling. As electronic panini presses go, this one is superb.

    I was really pleased with this grill... it was small and nice looking.. and you could stick the removeable plates in the dishwasher (pet hate about george foreman one - scrubbing.... filth) So i bought this 6 months ago and i am now sending it back to delonghi as the black protective coating off the plates has come away - and is literally flaking off all over the food. To be fair delonghi have been brilliant - as i only contacted them to get some replacement plates - but they do not sell them and have asked me to return to entire unit... But I hope they dont have it for too long - i have grown quite attached to it.

    I would review this product if only I had received it. Instead, I got a waffle maker. Since I bought it directly from Amazon, I sent it back and got my money back too in no time.
