The De'Longhi FRP Rotafryer is a healthier alternative for recipes that call for deep frying.
The Rotofryer's unique system features an angled, rotating basket, which means it uses only half the oil of traditional deep fryers to accomplish the same tasks.
The Rotofryer is not only healthier but safer too. The fryer features an external control basket so that you can raise or lower the basket into the oil with lid closed for extra safety. The De'Longhi FRP Rotofryer also has a cool touch body and viewing window, which enables you to monitor the food while cooking and without lifting the lid.
Additional featrues include adjustable temperature control (150-190 degrees), temperature indicator light, double filters for odour and oil vapour, a "replace filter" indicator and a removable, dishwasher safe locking lid, with lid release button.
The De'Longhi FRP Rotafryer's design incorporates cord storage and non-slip feet, and the 1.8kW fryer has a food capacity of 1kg – that's 1 litre oil.

When in use It works very well. The food can be cooked exactly as required. The one drawback is that there isn't an easy way to change the oil. This means picking up a heavy vessel and tipping it over a recepticle. This isn't made very clear on the sales pitch. Had it been so I would not have purchased this fryer.

I like the idea of it being a rotary fryer, and I like the usefulness of tye fact it only needs half the oil needed for most fryers. The downsideis emptying the oil. Although tere is not as much oil, the fryer has to be lifted physically and emptied

Great Fryer. We got two as wedding gifts three years ago and we have never had any problems with the one we used.
