What is an Air Conditioner?
The only true way of cooling a room is to use an air conditioner. A fan cooler can blow out cool air, but it will only do so in a specific area, while an air conditioner will actually reduce the air temperature in an entire room.
How does it work?
Unlike fans, which simply move the air around, air conditioners draw the hot air into the unit over an evaporator, which contains a low pressure and very cold refrigerant. The cool air is then blown out through the front vents, while the hot air is expelled through a rear hose.

De'Longhi produce a range of portable, ready-to-use air conditioning units for which you simply need access to a plug socket and an outlet for the hose, such as a window or door.
De'Longhi PAC A95 Compact Portable Air Conditioning Unit
The De'Longhi PAC A95 Compact Portable Air Conditioning Unit is a must-have for those long hot summer months. With an 9,500 Btu cooling output, the product is recommended for rooms up to 95 metres squared.
The product has castors fitted to the bottom of it to enable you to easily move it from room to room. It does not require installation--all you need to do is position the outlet hose through a window or door and plug it in.
The digital display and remote control are simple to understand and easy to use. The PAC A95 also has an Autofan feature, which enables it to automatically set the temperature and fan speed according to the actual temperature of the room, as well as a 24-hour electronic timer and a Sleep function for use during the night.
As standard, the product also comes with an independent dehumidifier function that can be used to remove moisture from the air during both summer and winter months. The in-built dehumidifier is also ideal for drying laundry.
