    No gimmicks,(i.e., keep warm functions that don't get used) with this kettle. A little more noisy than some others but pours beautifully, nicely balanced and boils water quickly. What more can anyone want from a kettle? 360deg base is perfect for left- and right-handed alike. The measuring aid could be wider to help those with poorer eyesight, or big hands which obscure it. Easy to fill by removing the lid, or via the spout. The pearly white version blends in with many other appliances rather than being 'shiny-bright' and standing out. Shame its quite costly, but it is DeLongi and thus good quality.Fingers crossed it will last better than so many nice-but-cheaper kettles I've ditched.We shall see....

    I bought this together with the toaster. They look really classy in my kitchen. Smooth surface and easy to keep clean unlike most of the plastic kettles around. The pearl white makes the look more neutral too.
