The retro-styled Icona CTO4003.W is a four-slice toaster with 1.8 kW of power for rapid toasting. Designed to toast four slices, this toaster can also operate two slots independently, allowing you to make two slices of toast without wasting energy. It has a stylish Pearl White finish that has been designed not to show fingerprints, as well as neon indicator function lights and electronic controls for its reheat, defrost, bagel and cancel functions.
The variable browning control features six levels of browning to help you achieve your perfect toast colour, while the variable width slots increase your choice of bread shapes and sizes and the extra-lift facility makes it easy to remove even the smallest items and slices. The De'Longhi Icona has an extra-deep crumb tray to keep your workspace tidy and non-slip feet for safety, all of which means your toaster will be as easy to use as it is attractive in your kitchen.

Having avoided buying a toaster of any description over the last 6 years I plucked up the courage to spend good money on the De'Longhi Icona. It is worth every penny. The bread actually fits, it browns evenly and amazingly quietly, and having independent controls for toasting two slices is very useful. You need a good chunk of workspace to put it but having a toaster that actually does a good job makes it worth it.

I tested all the toasters around before buying this one. I swore I would never buy another toaster as none of them toast the whole slice. Well this one does and I would recommend it to anyone wanting real toast without using a grill. Together with the matching kettle I was more than happy to pay a bit more and I feel I have got value for money. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Delonghi Icona toaster
Very pleased with this toaster. toasts evenly, and does bagels well. Quite a viscous pop up, but it doesn't have a lift feature for small pieces, or it would have 5 stars
