Excellent heater,

This review is from: De'Longhi HVE332-3 Fan Heater with 2 Heat Settings, 3kW (Kitchen & Home)
I bought this heater to heat my room where I sleep. I read the reviews here before buying it, and I was hoping to get what I expected according to these reviews.
I was very pleased to find that I can share the opinion of those who like this product. It's not too noisy; I can leave it on when I go to sleep. Heats up my large room quickly, in 5 minutes, and keeps the room warm thanks to the thermostat. I would recommend this product to anyone who wish to keep a small to large sized room warm. Not suitable to use in the bathroom. My room is about 12ft by 10ft, and I think it would be suitable for an up to 15ft by 15ft room. Edit: Please note that it is a 3000W heater. However good is the heat it makes, it's going to consume a LOT of energy if you use it for an extended period of time. With high usage, my energy bill went up to £150 per month, plus the gas bill (gas central heating).

Fantastic heater - the best I've owned,

This review is from: De'Longhi HVE332-3 Fan Heater with 2 Heat Settings, 3kW (Kitchen & Home)
This is a really excellent product. I've used many heaters, but none of them up to this standard - even one that I bought for £59.99 just 6 months ago.
There are 6 heat settings, ranging from 1 (a slight heat) to 6 (a blazing inferno). Number 3, I find is the most comfortable and natural. Upon switching it on, you'll notice that the product makes a slight buzz. It's certainly not excessive, and doesn't disrupt listening to TV at a normal volume. The heater warms up a small/medium sized room very quickly - within around 5 minutes usually. Once your ideal temperature is reached, the heater will automatically switch itself off thanks to the inbuilt thermostat. It will come back on if the temperature drops again. If you have a well insulated room, you can heat it for a full day with only around 30 minutes of 'on time'. Having it on for 1 hour a day, which in my experience you'll never need, costs just over £7.50 per month. Don't hesitate, it's a bargain.

Very noisy little machine,

My central heating broke down and I needed an electric heater that I could move easily from room to room and which was efficient. I based my purchase on the reviews here and on the fact that I was inexpensive. Although the HVE332-3 heats quickly it is very noisy, not only the fan but a continuous loud rattle and buzzing. I certainly won't be able to leave it on overnight in a bedroom. OK for a short period of use during the day, but not a permanent heating solution.
