I bought this heater to keep under my desk at work to keep me and my legs warm in winter. It looks good, it's not too expensive and I like the fact it switches itself on and off to keep the room at a constant temperature.
However, I cannot recommend this heater to keep in an office with other people as it is too noisy. I bought it to replace an ancient one, and noise was not even something I considered. My colleagues now frequently turn it off, and, to be honest, it's even getting on my nerves on occasions. I certainly feel it's worth investing in a "silent" heater.

This is a great little heater, my other heater that I had died on me and I wanted a new one as quick as possible. The heater is half the size of my old one but is just as powerful, it is not an eye sore like some others either, I have yet to try out all the settings on it but for me it is perfect. A great buy at a great price.

This product is a tidy little number. Does what it says on the tin; heats with a fan. This fan mechanism is inherently slightly noisy, but as I use it to heat my room while I work, without having to turn on the whole house heating, it is fine. I can see that it might be an irritating noise if other people were working in the same room. £20 with super saver delivery and I'm a happy customer.
Just missed out on the 5 star rating only owing to the noise (which isn't excessive).
