The Rapido is De'Longhi's top of the range oil filled radiator. It combines all the benefits of a traditional oil filled radiator with the strengths of high-speed convection. With its innovative features and modern styling, the Rapido is the ultimate in winter comfort.

The unit has an adjustable thermostat, large easy to use controls, handle and large rear wheels to ensure easy movement around the home. The in-built Power Modulation Function is an intelligent feature which automatically switches the product down to the lowest power setting once the selected temperature has been reached.

The Rapido also has a 3kW heat output, 7 flexible settings and instant heat system providing faster warm up time. The unit ships complete with fitted plug and 10 year guarantee.

    This product does everything the label says. I have had a very similar model for the last two winters in a very cold room. It has been on most of the day and evening and it has made the room bearable at an average cost throughout the year of maybe about £30 a quarter.

    Operating the radiator could not be more simple. The timer is easy to set and the thermostat is efficient.

    A word of warning. Run it off the mains because, as I found out, it will burn out an extension lead.

    Wanted something to heat up a large room without having to waste energy by switching on the central heating which would heat the whole house (4 bedrooms).

    Room heats up under 15 mins and stays warm for the rest of the day. Not noticed any changes to my electric bill so rate this very highly on both fronts and find this fairly economical especially without having to pay high gas prices to warm up the rest of the house when I only need to work in one room.

    I've stopped using my storage heaters now -- this works perfectly, the timer's a God send and it warms a room much more quickly than even a wasteful fan heater. Get one now!
