The De'Longhi EC750 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker in brushed stainless steel is a simple yet effective espresso and cappuccino maker with high-performance 15 bar pump pressure. It provides an ideal introduction into the world of coffee and makes perfect espresso, cappuccino, caffe latte or any other favourite coffee or milk drink with the greatest of ease.
Not only is the De'Longhi EC750 a pump machine (the most traditional and well-known way to make delicious authentic espresso using ground coffee or Easy Serving Espresso pods), it also has a patented milk frother dispenser to enable you to make a perfect cappuccino or latte at the touch of a button. The milk solution allows you to select the froth density to meet personal taste, combining milk, steam and air to produce a cascade of creamy, frothy milk directly into the cup.
In addition to the IFD (Instant Froth Dispenser) system, there are two pumps and separate steam and espresso thermostats to ensure perfect espressos and creamy cappuccinos can be made at the same time and to the optimum temperature.
This three-button operated coffee maker comes with a 1.3 litre removeable water tank, a built-in tamper and incorporated crema device for the perfect crema. It is built to accommodate full-size cappuccino or two espresso cups. It also has an active cup warmer and a two-in-one filter holder for normal ground coffee and for Easy Serving Espresso pods. These pods take the guesswork out of making the perfect espresso and cappuccino and usually consist of two layers of special filter paper filled with 100% pressed ground coffee, which can be clipped straight into the filter holder. The pods are easy to remove and dispose of after use, solving the problem of messy, loose coffee grounds.
The beauty of the self-priming system means the De'Longhi EC750 is always ready to prepare the perfect espresso or cappuccino and, when you are finished making your cappuccino or latte, the removeable milk reservoir and brush, along with the removeable drip tray, make cleaning quick and easy.

I had a Gaggia compact digital and almost from day one nothing went right. It spent more times in the repair shop (thankfully I had an extended warranty)than in our kitchen. Finally in Feb this year it went to coffee heaven and there it rests.... With mums' birthday fast approaching in August, I was reviewing so many machines, my eyes were going blind... I needed caffeine just to stay awake. I finally opted for this machine, more out of desperation because I needed to make a choice soon. I am so pleased I chose this machine (sadly not from Amazon as better deal elsewhere with a better extended warranty option also). It is so easy to use that after about 6 times (it was perfect first time)I felt like a real Barista. The crema is nice and thick and aroma wonderful but remember unless you want and like cold espresso, remember to heat your cups before. I just do this by putting hot water in the cups before making the coffee and the quality is perfect. I have not used the ESE pods and have used a known branded and Lidl own espresso coffee and both results are perfect. So if anyone is thinking about getting this machine or are like me dazzled by the array of machines on the market and dont know which one to go with, this one is GREAT.... It looks chic in the kitchen and works like a dream. Buy this, you wont be sorry. Excellent

Well, as there were no other reviews on this machine I was a little aprehensive to say the least. That said, I went ahead and made my purchase (not from Amazon as on a better deal at that time) Well happy with it, coffee tastes great but that is down to the coffee, the milk frother (if thats what you call it) works like a dream, very smooth and creamy. Easy to clean and quick at heating up. No issues with temperature of coffee or milk either, very hot, just leave the machine on for 15 mins and your away!
In summary, glad I made the purchase and have had many cups of great coffee since!

I have been looking to buy a coffee machine for ages but baffled by the choice and did not want to get a pod specific machine. I have not been disappointed with this machine which is also good value - we have been using Illy coffee and with the milk frother the coffee is excellent. The main trick is to warm the cups and the holder before hand by running hot water through to get the right temperature - our first few attempts without warming procedure disappointed due to tempertaure - once this was worked out, very happy.
The machine looks great in our new kitchen with its silver cafe bar look and love 'the theatre' of tapping out the old coffee, filling, compressing and levering on the handle - I feel like a proper barista (which is similar to what my partner calls me for hogging the machine).

not that unique
only bought in april milk dispenser now putting out steam instead of taking up milk it would appear that the three way pump has a mind of its own the novelty has worn off now have... Read more
