The stylish De'Longhi TRD0820T Dragon 3 Oil Filled Radiator convects air through its unique "chimney", providing a fast flow of hot air that quickly warms the whole room. It also has a large surface area for high radiant heat output. Working in a similar way to De'Longhi's Vento range, but at a more advanced level, the convective chimneys of the Dragon 3 range provide a "Super Chimney Effect" with multiple narrow chimneys, which increases convective air flow in a superior way.
The Dragon 3 heats the air faster than any traditional oil-filled radiator and creates a comfortable mixture of radiant and convected heat, providing 2 kW of total heat output with three switchable heat levels, a frost-guard setting and an overheat safety cut-out.
The Dragon TRD0820T has been designed to have a smooth and safe profile, with rounded edges and fitted castors, making it safe and easy to move around the home as necessary. This unit comes with a 10-year guarantee.

A good heater, ideal for a living room or large bedroom. Heats room quickly. The timer works well, and the thermostat works well too. Two points worth noting - the power lead is not very long - about 2m from the front of the heater - and it has a "new" smell that lasts a few days but soon stops. Given it five stars because I am really impressed with it.

Whilst diddy maid's review is listed under the 'De'Longhi Dragon 3 TRD0820T Oil Filled Radiator', I think that particular review actually refers to the 'De'Longhi Dragon 3 TRD0820ER Oil Filled Radiator'. Note carefully the difference in model numbers - the former is 820T and the latter is 820ER. It is the 820ER that has digital controls and a remote control.
They are otherwise pretty similar appliances except one has analog controls and an analog clock (820T), and the other has digital controls with a digital clock, plus a remote control (820ER). Just make sure you order the right one, as both are on sale here (at the time of writing)!
The benefit of the 820ER (digital) version is that you can set a desired temperature (5 to 35 degrees Celsius) at the outset and the radiator will heat up and then modulate that. Whilst the analog controls of the 820T will do the same job, I guess you will need to use the radiator a while to gain experience with the power buttons (settings 1, 2 and 3) and the thermostat (variable control) to work out what is a comfortable temperature for you.
In any event, I doubt you will be disappointed with either model. I have bought 2 of the 820ER radiators and they were delivered in 'as new' condition. Some reviews here complain of noise (creaks, clunks etc), but that has to be expected of something heating up/cooling down. Its not that intrusive .... or would you rather be cold? Very effective heaters - within 5 minutes of turning on from cold, there is a noticeable convective flow of hot air from the top, plus radiant heat from the sides. Rooms warm quickly! Thumbs-up from me!

Easy to use. Easy to move. Heats up quickly. Can heat a relatively large room (30 cubic metres) in a cold house fast. The timer function is essential so don't bother with the ones without. No idea what it costs to run, but wouldn't want to use it all the time. Excellent as a stand-by heater.

Bought this to heat a rather cold hallway which has no other form of heating in it, fantastic! I set the timer to come on in the morning for an hour and in the evening, i've found it heats most of the upstairs. It heats up quickly and haven't noticed it making any noise other than the first few seconds when it turns on. Great product.

After 15 years of waking up in the winter to a freezing cold bedroom I decided to purchase something to take the chill out of said room, the room in question measures approx 15ft x 8 x 8 to give you an idea what this radiator is capable of.
Overnight the weather forcast said it would be -2 C so I set the radiator to the number 1 setting and the dial (a temperature fine adjuster I imagine) to just below the middle. The radiator was switched on all night, but would switch itself off when my temperature setting was reached and switch back on when the temp got too cold, thus keeping the room at an even temp. Nice, energy saving as well.
When I awoke at 04:30 for work the room was warm and cosy, minimising the usual lethargy to get my behind out of bed.
I had this on a low temp setting but I'm sure this would be able to heat a bigger room no problems using the higher settings.
It is quite expensive but looks to have been well built using quality materials that should last.

Bought this for my mum who is 80 years old and needed to have some heat in her kitchen.Found it very easy to programme and quickly warms up her kitchen.It is compact and the fact that it has wheels means it can be easily moved either to another room or a different area.The timer is a well worth extra .

Really pleased with this radiator, heats up quickly, then only need to keep it on 1 and halfway on the heat setting to keep our conservatory lovely and warm, although still awaiting the first cold snap, which I guess may need a higher setting!

Radiator arrived just in time for the cold weather snap and weren't we grateful. My kitchen is normally like an ice box but thanks to our new heater it was soooo... cosy and warm.It heats up the room quickly too.
The only downside is the short flex and no instruction booklet. Please can you send me one. Fortunately it is fairly straight forward to operate although the clock took me a while to fathom.

Not what it promised
When I got it the timer was tricky to set (a previous buyer pointed that out) it didn't heat up as big an area as it claimed and was quite costly to run

Instant heat and easy to use - especially with the timer
