The DES14 portable dehumidifier from De'Longhi is both compact and stylish in design and has a 14 Litre per day extraction rate. The product is quiet in operation and has built in castors and carry handle to ensure it can be moved around the home with ease.
The reliable in-built humidistat enables you to set the desired relative humidity level and the DES14 also comes with a double condense elimination system, which automatically discharges the removed water into either the water tank or continuously through the two-metre attachable permanent extraction hose.

The water tank itself has a three Litre capacity and visible water level, the integrated tank control system monitors the water collection level and automatically stops extraction as and when the tank is full. Other features include an electronic anti-frost protection device (down to 2°C) and Bio Silver Tech Air filtration system. Comes complete with a two-year manufacturer's warranty and a permanent drain facility kit.

Ordered this product after good reviews to replace an old Ebac-big mistake. Despite being on full from 10pm to 7am every night our windows are still running with condensation each morning and there is about 500ml of water in the tank!(says it will clear 14ltrs in 24 hours!)Its very noisy too. The only plus side was Amazons brilliant delivery service! WISH WE COULD HAVE OUR MONEY BACK AND BUY ANOTHER EBAC!!!!

Bought this dehumidifier as a replacement of our no-name B&Q dehumidifier which had been running on our attick for almost 2 years and managed to keep the humidity there under 60%. The DeLonghi struggles at normal temperatures, and now, with temperatures below 10 centigrade at night, the Delonghis (I actually bought a second one becaue I thought the first one was faulty) never get the humidity below 60%. Very disappointing, I'll have to find a replacement

Have only had this item a few weeks, but to date it has performed well... does the job it was required to do & with this present cold snap it has kept the conservatory almost completely dry. We have it set on a timer so expect some condensation - but there's very little - if any.
Very pleased & would recommend it to anyone else needing a solution for any damp.

Does what it says but ..
It works fine if you use the water tank. But if you need it to run continuously then there is a serious flaw. The rubber hose supplied is very flimsy and mine was badly kinked. Read more
