Product Description
The DCH4590ER is both compact and practical in design, the internal ceramic and aluminium strips generate and retain heat more effectively then a traditional Fan Heater. The digital display complete with programmable timer is both clear to see and easy to use/programme. In additional to the 2 variable heat settings (900w & 1.8kw) the DCH4590ER also has a cool blow setting making it ideal for those hot summer days as well as an Adjustable Thermostat, remote control and oscillating base. For added safety the product also comes with an anti tilt mechanism which ensures that if knocked over, the heater will automatically cut off. Other additional features include Power Indicator Light and Removable Anti Dust Filter.

I bought this heater for my elderly grandmother. She loves it, especially the easy to use remote control and the auto-off when it tips over.

For such a compact unit this gives of a lot of heat, no more or less noisy than other fan heaters. the buttons on unit are hard to see this is why i gave it only 4 stars

Bought this as we wanted a nice compact heater than could sit on a bedside table and look sophisticated - which it achieved well. Remote was handy and made it easy to use, with its effective 1.8kW ceramic heating element heated a small/medium room well. It's even got efficiency modes to save you power.
However these are the downers:
1) Noisy! Do not get if you want to leave on whilst you get to sleep, as it is quite loud in operation - would have been amazing if it had a silent mode
2) oscillation is probably 60 degrees or so (or feels like it at least)
All in all a decent piece of kit, but do not get if you are a light sleeper and want it on during the night or if you want a wide oscillating heater.....
However these are the downers:

IT ACTUALLY WORKS GREAT. IT HEATS THE SAMLL ROOM EFFICIENTLY AS WELL AS IT'S REALLY LIGHT YOU CAN MOVE IT EASILY. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT TOO NOISY.

Amazing. It warms up the room in minutes and you can switch with remote and could be in bed and do have to get out to turn off or reduce temperature.
