I've had this toaster for about a couple of months now and so far no problems. When it first arrived I was very pleased with the look - stylish and polished. My boyfriend wasn't so keen as he thought it looked old fashioned but I think the term he was looking for is retro. Anyway, each to their own and I think it makes a very stylish addition to my kitchen. The top (depending on the setting) can get quite hot when toasting whilst my old toaster used to stay cool but I understand that this is common with alot of toasters. As it's polished, it could also mean extra cleaning to keep it looking it's best but I personally don't mind. And most importantly - it does it's job and toasts. I've given it 4 stars as it doesn't like really like thin slices of toast which are not easy to rise with the levers once toasted. On the plus side, I also like the reheat option which my last toaster didn't have.

Solid toaster. Bought a while ago and in a family of 4 its still going strong.
Only niggle would be that the longer slices of bread need to get turned round halfway through toasting but isnt most toasters the same?
Certainly recommend.

Bought this as I was fed up with my toaster not doing its job. My dad has had one of these for 5 years and never had a problem so I thought I would buy one. It has lived up to my hopes and does what a toaster should do. Would recommend this to anyone.

ok but not great
Slightly disappointed with the performance of this product. Even the high setting does not toast the bread sufficiently....so it has to go in a second time.

Great Toast....
Toaster just arrived this morning in the post. Packaging was excellent and the item was undamaged.
