From the Author

50 interviews with West Ham players of the 50's
In 1958 West Ham United emerged from a 26-year hibernation outside top flight football, storming back as Second Division champions wiht 101 goals. In their second game back they beat the mighty Wolves, the eventual champions. In the same month they overpowered Manchester United, who would be runners-up. And in the spring of 1959 they shook fortress Highbury with a glorious 2-1 victory over the team that that would take third place.

Really interesting, albeit I have a particular interest in this period at the club as a family member was playing at the time. Book was fine quality wise and delivered in a reasonable timescale.

What I wanted. When I wanted it. Any old time West Ham fans would find it interesting. All gone now.
