To be honest, a film about a bank robbery would not be at the top of my list of films to see. However, Daylight Robbery proved to be thoroughly entertaining with no small amount of tension and poignancy. The characters were believable even though there wasn't much character development. The actors threw everything into their roles and the testosterone was flowing freely. The poignancy was beautifully portrayed by Shelly and her relationship with Chubby added a touch of sadness and humanity to the whole proceedings. Good moments of humour and look out for the short "what next" biographies at the end of the film. We watched it with a group of friends - nibbles and a few glasses of wine made it a great night in. Thank you Daylight Robbery!

Ok Italian Job - not even close but the director tips his hat to it and Inside Man amongst others and why not? Its not trying to be the Italian Job or Inside Man, its not a serious film so we get a very funny cockney Brit robbery gone wrong story. I think putting a tag line on the front of the box claiming to be the best heist film since the Italian Job is a mistake but typical of the marketing peoples ignorance in thinking that viewers will fall for such grandiose claims! In the end what you get us a decent enough addition to the genre and worth a nights rental.

It killed a couple of hours! Nothing outstanding but entertaining in a cockney chummy nice guy bankrobbers caper!!! Ok for 3 quid but you wouldnt want to pay 12.99 for it.

Good Film
DVD came very quick from purchasing it. Excellent condition. Husband said the film was a good choice.
