I ordered what looked like genuine Miele Bags, but when they came they were completely different to the picture they were blue instead of red and didn't fit in the Hoover.

This pack of 20 replacement bags and 8 filters came well packaged and arrived quickly.
They come with red plastic sleeves which slot into the cleaner holding - the original bag sleeve is blue (please see my attached pictures so you can compare the two).
These bags are slightly smaller, as one reviewer noted - see their review for exact sizes.
But the hole provides a nice snug fit, I watched the cleaner lid close and just before it did, I could see that the housing fit flush over the bag hole. This was my major concern as I didn't want all my dust etc to end up inside the cleaner and not the bag! I even did a spot of vacuuming and opened the cleaner to check everything was okay, which it was. As you can see in the picture, the hole appears smaller than the official bag, but that white ring is rubber and it ensures that the cleaner hose fits snug against the bag with no leakage.
Some users experienced tightness as they slotted the bag into the cleaner, however, I found that it was very easy and quick to do - no problems there.
I haven't changed my air filter because my old one is still oksay, so I can't comment on those. However, I shall update this review once I do that.
UPDATE:
Have used the cleaner a few more times and it still works fine. When replacing the bag, you have to be careful to lift a small tab in the middle of the cleaner housing, in order to then slide the bag up and out. If you try to force it, you might break the housing, so lift it gently, then slide bag up.

The filter is a bit of foam cut into a rectangle.
Think "poundshop".
But amazingly, I've been using the ones I bought from Amazon for a couple of years and they work just as well as the Miele ones - so they are a great saving.

Vacuum cleaner bags

Miele FJM bags
A little bit more tight fitting than an original Miele FJM replacement bag and because of that it is difficult to remove. Otherwise good value for money

Good alternative
Bought these bags for my Miele hoover, seem to do the trick, but the fitting is a bit flimsy and doesn't slot into the holder very easily. Read more

FAKE MIELE - NOT ORIGINAL
These are fake - not original bags strongly recommend you not to buy - they're a shadow of the original miele bags.
